HISTORY

The Studio bought the building in the late 2000’s. Originally it was a laboratory owned by the now extinct organization B.I.Y. In this laboratory they created things. What kind of things you ask? Well…just things. Science equipment, state of the art inventions, household devices, things that you know the public will never get to use; the list goes on. They made all kinds of things, some useful, others unneeded...where do you think “Pogs” REALLY came from?

After filing for bankruptcy, B.I.Y. was forced to sell the building. The Studio bought it off their hands for an unspecified amount. They spent the next month cleaning things out and then handed over the building to The Studio. While setting things up, we came across a sealed door behind a wall. It would appear that B.I.Y. forgot to clean out one room. A room which contained something that was not meant to be seen by the public.

Upon opening it we found what appeared to be a lost project of some kind. It was a project for traveling to and from dimensions. After reading some old notes and blueprints, we learned that this project was actually completed successfully in 1999, but they didn’t end up distributing it to the public. They felt like mankind was not ready to harness this kind of power yet. Thus, they decided to stop working on it and revisit the project when the world was ready for this scientific breakthrough and sealed everything in this room. As for why they had wallpaper put over it…I don’t know. Maybe their interior decorator accidently ignored the door or something.

At first, we thought the devices wouldn’t work anymore, but after reading/following the operation manuel, not only did they still work, but they also did what they were meant to do perfectly. Since then we decided to look into this project like some kind of side hobby. We had a feeling this technology would be useful to us someday.

With that out of the way, the following texts are from the actual notes of the guys behind the project. We weren’t able to make out a majority of the notes as time took its toll on them. But we managed to recover a good amount of instructions that allowed us to operate devices. The following files after are typed replicants of these surviving notes. We apologize for any typos.
